Peacefully on October 23, 2026, Adriana Josephina (Jane) Van de Ven (nee Ketelaars) passed away and is now reunited with her husband Marinus (2020). Born in Erp, the Netherlands to parents Antonius and Johanna (nee Van Zutphen) Ketelaars. In 1956 she married the love of her life and immigrated to Canada.They spent 64 years building a life and family.
Left to mourn her passing are her children Tony (Cheryl 2023), Mike (Linda) Jerry and Maureen.
She was Oma to Kate, Shari (Colin), Devin, Jeremy (Lindsay), Joshua and Great Oma to Rachel (Luke), Michael and Nash.
She will also be missed by her sister Mien Verkuijlen in Holland and dear friend and sister in law Ann Van de Ven of Dorchester. She was a special Tante to many nieces and nephews here and in Europe.
The family would like to thank the staff of St Joseph’s Hospice London for their dedicated and compassionate care of mom during her final days.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St George’s Catholic Church 1164 Commissioners Rd W., London, on Wednesday October 28th at 12 Noon. Followed by a luncheon. Visitation one hour prior from 11- 12 at the church.
Interment later that afternoon at Sacred Heart in the Field, Mt. Brydges.
